AVOID This product at all costs. I bought one from PC world in december and have just taken it back last week. The discription on the box states is does so much yet in reality it delivers very little. Visit philips streamium cafe and read up on it before taking the plunge

From my experience with this item it never did the following tasks well:

Streaming of mpeg files would result in slow jerky image this was with both wired and wireless networks at one point i put my pc right next to the streamium unit and connected it with less than half a metres worth of cat 5 cable and this did nothing to improve it.

When i bought this unit i thought i was getting an easy to use media streamer not something which ment i would have to spend hours recoding films and fiddling with bit rates to try and get to give a decent picture.

Unit would always crash or hang for ages before catching up with it self.

Firmware on the odd occassion philips bothered to release it would often turn into a complete nightmare to get on the system.

never tried the radio part of the system so could not comment on, as this was not the main reason for the initial purchase

I had one of these and yes good for music but very little else, plus I believe Philips have moved onto something else.
