    My Philips 6515 set seems to be missing a bit of the picture at the bottom having looked at the Thx test screen.

    I found a code for the service menu - 062596 i+

    Having looked at the web site with this code I've noticed that there are 4 vertical possibilities. Has anyone any idea what they mean?

    They are;

    V. Slope
    V. Shift
    V.Amplitude
    V S-Correction

    Just note the present settings and try them.... :devil:

    V-slope (I think) adjusts how much the picture gets enlarged as it goes down the screen. On my TV the top/bottom of the screen goes blank when I adjust this, but is restored when I move off the item.

    V-shift adjusts side-to-side centering

    V-Amplitude adjusts the height of the picture

    V-S-Correction adjusts how much the picture is "stretched" towards the top/bottom from a line across the centre of the screen.
