I've had a look at this from Comet but had a lot of difficulty in finding any reviews for it.It's a Pixal Plus for under £900!Anyone out there got one or have seen a review, I would be very grateful, cheer's Dazgwinn.

I too have had a look at this set.

The set does not appear on Philips's web site either. In-store it carries an 'Exclusive to Comet' tag. Asking a Comet chappy about this he said that Philips make that model exclusively for Comet.

Not sure it's true, but it would explain the lack of reviews.

    Cheers,

    Paul

    Welcome to the forums :hiya:

As far I know the model is readily available in the rest of Europe, Comet just have an exclusive promotional deal in the UK for the time being.

Good to know that the tradition of spouting utter balls still lives on in the sales industry

Comet and Dixons both have the exclusive rights to many TVs, as they are slightly modified from standard models available elsewhere (e.g most have virtual dolby added)

Does this mean they're GREY IMPORTS?? and therefore should they be CHEAPER?? Are they ripping Joe Public off even more as usual??

9528 is the replacement of 9527. It has the same feature as 9308 and it has the same look as 9618.
It is ideal for any body who has already 5.1 sound.
