I am new to this forum as I am searching for a solution for the following issue I have with my newly bought Philips PUS8536.
I use a CI+ module to decrypt HD TV channels (private german television channels like RTL, SAT1 and so on). This works perfectly when I switch the TV on and it is within TV mode. But when the TV open some other app (like Netflix) from the beginning (usually this is the case when I turn it off when watching Netflix before) and switching back to normal TV mode later on the CI+ module doesn't seem to be authenticated so the TV tells me that the channel cannot be decrypted and I should check the module. I can understand this behavior but I would expect that the authentication process will start as soon as I switch to TV mode (like when turning the TV on and it is immediately in TV mode). As soon as I completely restart the TV everything works.
Does anyone ever experienced something like that and has any idea what I can try to fix that?
Of course I already have the latest updates installed.
