philips pronto TSU6000 and RU940 differences

I just purchased a TSU6000 which is the U.S. version.What i,d like to know is there any differences between the RU940 U.K. and what they are.Will i be able to use the TSU6000 in the U.K. without any problems.
Also i need power cable for charging unit does anyone know what voltage

Hi, the TSU6000 is the RU970 and colour (Not the RU940 which is mono) so if you are asking the difference between the TSU6000 and RU970, there is hardly any difference but if you mean between the TSU6000 and RU940, there is a world of difference! (see the pics for starters - from left to right = TSU6000, RU970, RU940)

There is nothing stopping you using the TSU6000 here! The only problem you will have is that the RF is 418MHz rather than 433MHz so you have to use the US extender if you want to use the RF capabilities. (it is not strictly legal to use 418MHz here but.....)

The built in database is also more for the US market and won't have many european brands built in but 99% of people learn codes from their original remotes (note the learning eye is on the bottom of the remote by the connector, not at the front) or head to www.remotecentral.com and look for CCFs with the codes in already!
