Philips Plasma confusion

Hi,

I am looking to buy the 32" Philips Plasma - but I am getting very confused over its model number.

Today I looked at one and it was a 9944. Last week I researched the net and found the model as 9954. Now I look on the Philips website and see it as a 9964.

I thought that the screen was a 9954 and the tuner box was a 9964.

Anyone out there has one of these and can tell me whetehr they are one in the same i.e. there hasn't been subtle upgrades to the original Philips 32" Flat TV?? If so can you tell me what they are please?

It is a toss-up at the moment between the plasma and the 32PW9617 Philips Pixel +.

Hi,

I bought a Philips 32" plasma a couple of weeks ago, and it's a 32PF9964 - same as on Philips website....

http://www.consumer.philips.com/glo...TTVCAT&subCatId=FLATTV&productId=32PF9964_12S

If you click on the 'manuals/drivers' link at the top of the page, and search for '32pf9964/12s', then look at the product specification leaflet, it has the model number of both the plasma screen and tuner box.

I managed to get John Lewis to price match a company called Hispek, they're online at http://www.hispek.com, but they also have a showroom - hence why JL had to price match... managed to save myself £1300!
