anyone help me find out how i get into this?

does it offer a method of controlling the back light levels in there?

please guys ive searched and searched and there is nothing anywhere!! i NEED to find a way to reduce the backlight levels without using dynamic backlight options, if i cant resolve it then im thinking of taking the TV back... please guys!
