Philips or LG?

im still not completely made up on what tv to go for but my good old Samsung R74 is developing lines of dead pixels quite quickly.

So,

i was almost made up with the LG 47SL8000 but ive been distracted by a deal on the Philips 47PFL8404H/12


whats the better one to go for?

LG give you more for your buck, I do own an SL8000, and i cant really say bad things about it, it really works in everyway.

I've ordered a 47sl8000 & the new LG blu-ray soundbar to match.
