I went to see one of the 30" models yesterday - the 30HM9202.
I don't really have a frame of reference for the picture quality but it seemed very good to me and the mirror was excellent when it was turned off. Very room friendly. If it was sunk into a wall a few inches it would look fantasitic

The resolution is 1280 x 768, but it had no HDMI inputs (only S-Video and PC) :thumbsdow

That doesn't strike me as being very forward looking but perhaps someone knows of HD ready sets waiting in the wings.

I had a very close look into one of these at Selfridges mid 2004. Promises of retail batches "would follow hotel commitments..". Visiting Selfridges again today (Manchester Trafford Centre) the display has now vanished.. even more 'transparent' than the TV Screen when in mirror mode!!!

No knowledge to be gained from the store staff though...

Pity I thought the concept was excellent, and likely to be the easiest route to persuading my other half to fix a TV in such a prominant position in the living room.
