Has anyone tried component video leads on the Philips 30" LCD on YPbPr inputs?

Is it worth forking out for the leads as the SCART DVD option looks stunning.

    Thanks

    try this thread

I've asked basically the same question. Problem is with the philips (30pf9975?), it doesn't support interlaced component, only progressive. And apparantly not 480p, even though the manual says it does.

Might be possible via VGA somehow, but anyway, that thread is trying to collect as much data as possible on this particular TV.
