Philips Hue Syncbox question

Hey everyone, question:

So in my home theatre room (in the making) I’ve got an “old” tv right that only has HDMI 2.0 and an ARC channel (so no eARC). I’ve got a Sony HT-A9 arriving soon which has 1 HDMI IN and 1 HDMI OUT port. It will passthrough 4K120Hz etc but this does not matter since the tv won’t support it anyway.

The question is: if I connect my Syncbox (with Firestick connected to it) will the Syncbox passthrough audio and video to the sound system which will then pass the video through to the tv? So I’ll get proper Atmos sound and lights syncing?
