I have Philips HTS3548/98 system - a low end Home-theater system. Now I want to upgrade the setup with a good Amp. My shortlisted Amps are

    Denon AVR-687 7.1-Channel ,Onkyo TX-SR605 7.1 and Yahama DXZ

Im not sure if the my present philips speakers are compatible with these AMPs , nor can I find a way to check it out. Can someone help me out to check this.

    thanx in advance
    raj

Just looked at the instructions and to be honest you would be better selling the system off.
    Reasons
    3 ohm speakers (too low)
    Non powered sub (not suitable)

And the main one I doubt if the speakers could even cope with power output of a new AV amp.

This and for many other reasons is why all-in-one systems are a pain. If you need to change one bit then it is all of it.
