    Hi Guys,

I bought a set of Philips Surround Sound Stereo Wireless Headphones from Currys last year (the HC8850). OK, it's not 5.1 but it's better than stereo & they are wireless, so I was quite happy using them late at night with my Sony DAVS500.

I recently replaced the Sony with the Samsung HT-UP30 which is excellent. Unfortunately, since then I have had a high pitched whistle through the headphones. However, they work fine if plugged into a different source, but also a bog standard set of stereo headphones works fine through the Samsung. I have tried changing channels and moving the base unit of the Philips headphones, all to no avail. I am very confused & in danger of annoying the neighbours again!

    Anybody got any ideas?
