    Hi Guys,
    Is this a bargain? Philips freeview box at Boots.com 49.99 if you spend 50.00. My wife say's no problem!

    It lacks 7 day epg but it has all the connections you are ever likely to need on a stb. But no rf re-modulator though.

    So if you are not bothered about 7 day epg then go for it. :smashin:

    Sounds like a good deal BUT is the Philips remote codeable like the Pioneer and Sony i.e. can you input a code to make it work with other band TV's???

    I had to return mine as it kept freeezing on ITV and Channel 4. Oher boxes were fine.
