Can someone kindly explain how to set up a Philips DVDR725H to update Guideplus via Eurosport on Sky? (At this location, there is no aerial connection.)

    Thank you.

I'm looking to possibly buy one of these too, but NEED Guideplus to work over NTL cable.

I too don't have an aerial connection.

Assurances that it can work would ease my buying process emormously!

    Thanks

Ive just gotten an hdrw720 - no aerial - just sky.

Works fine, setup had no channels but if you then go the guideplus setup and add your sky box etc. Then just put sky on eurosport (p410) overnight (leave 720 on overnight - only for the first time) and guide should be available in morning.

Then all you have to do is leave machine in standy everynight and it will turn your sky over to eurosport automatically after that for the downloads.
