Has anyone purchased either of these yet?

I think the 7300H is now available but not sure about the 9000H.

I would be pleased to hear about any comments on these machines.

I still think I will end up getting the Sony HXD710, but I am looking at any late contenders so any info would be much appreciated.

PS: I have given up ever finding someone who has brought the Hitachi DS81E or DS161E! :D

I know what you mean about Hitachi, you can't even download the instruction manual for their new machines.

Panasonic, pioneer, philips etc have their latest instructions manuals on their websites.

I read that Hitachi have a 3% share of the dvd/hdd market.

All I've seen is a picture of the front of the machine, no rear picture or remote control picture.

Alot of online stores sell the Hitachi's now, but you can't get the DV-DS251E yet, although you can buy it in Europe.

If they want to sell a new product, they could at least advertise it, include instruction manual on website with pictures.

    No reviews either.

I wouldn't consider buying any machine until I've read the instruction manual.
