Recently bought this Philips all in one cinema package. For the price, I am absolutely delighted with it's performance. Great picture quality when used with my Philps Flat screen through the RGB scart (Why oh why do the magazines push the Sonys etc, when people can only hook them up to their TVs using S-video, a much more inferior quality).
Anyway, the sound is superb, no problems filling my 15x10 feet room with good thumping bass (even though the speakers are very small and dainty, must be a good sub-woofer), also the sound detail is very surprising, previous DVD player nevr picked some of this detail out. Overall very enjoyable, and unless you are real audiophile (which 95% of us aren't) then would recommend this system for great cinema experience. (also has Dolby Digital & DTS decoders)

Note the magazines have not reviewed this system yet, I wonder why?

Anyway, my only worry is that I have not yet managed to find a multiregion remote hack. I have tried the Philips Universal remote hack (i.e. bought the recommended 1 for all remote from Argos) but no luck.

    Does anybody out there know?
