Hi Guys, I've had this projector for a few months. Run up just under 40 hours and generally very, very happy with it. On Saturday night we were watching 'The day after tomorrow' ( about 2/3 in the projector flashed up an error. 'The Projector will shut down in 5 seconds' it promptly did, running the normal cooling down cycle flashing the main red LED around the power button before going to standby. We decided to leave it and watched the remaining chunk of (a rather poor) film on the TV. The PJ didn't feel too hot and the room was normal temperature. The fans seemed to be sucking and blowing as normal and I don't remember seeing the fan or bulb lights flashing. I was a bit tiddly and had never noticed the other lights on the case until I read the troubleshooting so they might have been on, but I doubt it. After persuasion from my partner we tried it again last night - powered up OK and showed the whole of 'Eternal Sunshine of the spotless mind' without a glitch. Both films are around 2 hours (124min and 108min respectively) and the PJ was powered up and run for around the same time. It's wall mounted on a speaker bracket about 2.5m up and inverted - there's good air circulation as the bracket is open. Can anyone advise on the error message (nothing in the manual) or possible causes? Could a power spike/brown out have triggered it to do an emergency shut down? I'm trying not to worry too much about it, but if it's in need of attention then I guess I'd better get it sorted before Christmas.
