Question Philips banding problem or something different?

I have a problem with my 4k tv. I can see a white bar on my screen when I use a greyscale test and aggravate the effect. I don't know if this is called banding, because I thought banding was only dark in colour. Also, I don't think it's possible to exchange my television, so can I maybe change the pressure of the screws or try to get it repaired? Any tip would be helpful, Thanks in advance!

You won't be able to remedy it,99% of tv's have it to some extent, believe me I've returned several,if it's a issue, and it is really annoying, return it.
I took delivery of a pus6262 today and it has a black band down the right hand side, however it is,hopefully, only visible on the grey background.Ignore the blue line, that's part of the image from which I took the pic.

I didn't ask for exchange but instead I described the problem and guy was like can you send us photo's and done that , he was like yes I can see there's banding on your TV and I will contact Philips right now ! Which he did , and while on the phone had a Philips tech guy telling me that I will receive few instruction through my email and I have to follow those an send them back pictures until then I have to wait for a call from Philips .while the guy from ao said to call back !

What was the outcome of this?My last Philips 6272 had perfect uniformity, best panel I've owned by far,and was really happy with it,unfortunately whilst gaming on Friday night I noticed strange cross shapes at certain areas across the screen, barely visible but there nonetheless,my Mrs swore she couldn't see them but I guess my eyes are more susceptible to issues such as these,as a result I've returned that set and am now awaiting two refunds from Argos.

Update : Philips sent me 6 coloured pattern and I had to insert them in a usb an into my TV and as you can see there's white band lines in the middle, u forward all the pictures to Philips engineering department and after 4 days if waiting they sent me an email stating that there's nothing wrong with my panel ! Anyway spoke to ao customers and I managed to ex change my TV with 2017 LG oled 55 winner of whatahifi 2017 year :)

To be fair I've seen a whole lot worse but I agree, you spend your money on something and if you're not happy you expect a certain level of service,I suspect that the pics fell within the brand's acceptable standard.Well done on getting the exchange,I did like the Ambilight with the Philips set though.

I did like the ambilight as well but I couldn't live with those brand lines in the middle of my screen , also if you want ambilight alternative
And more dynamic backlight there is:

Sorry guys, I've the same issue on a Philips 50PUS 6060/12. I'm pretty sure when I've purchased the TVwere not present banding. Now I have at least three horizontal, pale white bands on screen, visible on grey and with motioning images...the tv was under warranty, but the tech lab said this problem it's a "normal LCD led tv issue..." Now, the problem it's not present in light images, but it's annoying...I've to insist with service center? And, will the problem be reduced in the future? The TV has 2 years...thx a lot, sorry for re-opening old posts!

Hi! Looks like i have something similar at my 65PUS8506.. horizontal dark stripes across the screen, visible normally during movie sky scenes, rly annoying. Its currently in service due this + 10 dead pixels! rly bad Phillips experience. Please check my video and tell me this is normal and its just me or panel is just a garbage:

It’s not normal. That’s a really bad example of dirty screen effect and isn’t acceptable.
