Philips Ambilight 'Full Surround'

Has anyone got a Philips TV with the new 'full surround' canvas? I'm interested to hear how well it works.

My LCD would have to be placed in front of an window, so normal Ambilight would not be ideal.

Has anyone got a Philips TV with the new 'full surround' canvas? I'm interested to hear how well it works.

I have the 42PF9831 lcd tv which comes with full surround ambilight. I am so used to it that when I deactivate it something is missing! It is something worth getting and yes it works fine. The colors are not so intense in 1080i mode but with the latest firmwares that does not apply any more.
However if you can wait for the new 9832 full surround then you will be able toenjoy fully saturated colors because of the lamps that are now Led.
