i have a problem with my philips 329986 lcd and have been offered a replacement or an exchange.
i really like the hitachi 325200 plasma and was thinking about getting it.

the philips cost me 1985.00 and the hitachi is 1380 so i'll have 600.00 left to spend on a dvd player.

would this be a good exchange?

from what ive read, i'd say a big no no, the 9986 is a fantastic 'future proof' screen whilst the 32pd5200 is old hat really... sorry to all 32pd5200 owners...

Given the choice, I'd go for the Phillips without any doubt. You will buy that DVD player anyway. Want to bet?
