    Hi,

Just been reading a review on this tv and seems to get good marks. I noticed a sticking point in the review was the fact that it does not have component inputs although it does have DVI. I'm not too clued up on this av stuff but it did say you could still get component pictures from a VGA to DVI adaptor that plugs into the DVI port and a VGA to component cable tha plugs to DVD.

The question is, does this still take advantage of the DVD's progressive scan, and what is progressive scan used for anyway?

Another question that comes to mind is what is the best way to connect your DVD to the TV since there are so many ways (I think)?
Is it a big thing if it also doesn't have a digital tuner?

Sorry, new to this and just making sure I buy the right thing that's all.

    Thanks.
