    Hi,

I know, LCD vs. CRT questions have been asked a thousands times before but I think making it 1000+1 does not kill anybody :)

I'm wondering which one to buy: a Philips 32PW9509 CRTor a Videoseven LTV32D LCD? The size and the price is quite similar (well, at least here in Switzerland the prices are comparable). 9509 seems to have some advantages in PQ and LTV32D seems to support HDTV and progressive scan sources. Now, my main usage for a TV is going to be watching DVDs and TV (both digital and analog cable TV). I don't have a console and do not plan to connect my computer to the display so my main concern is just about the PQ in different situation and also future support for the new standards. So what do you think? Which path is the better one? Is PQ so much different between these two TVs?

    Regards
    Arash
