    Does anyone know where I can download the latest firmware for the Philips 710 to flash update my player?

    You could try giving Philips a call. I got an upgrade disc sent to me
    which I just loaded and the machine did the rest. There is a Philips forum on the web ,but I can't remember the URL . You could try http://www.dvd.reviewer.co.uk as a starting point.
