Hi all,
I have recently purchased a Philips 50PUS7805 however I'm not impressed with the picture quality. It looks perfectly fine in light scenes however in dark scenes it looks very pixelated and ruins the picture. When I showed pictures to Richer Sounds they said straight away it looks like a faulty model so they replaced it. However I still have the same issue on the replacement. My main source of entertainment is the PS5. I use that to play games and Netflix etc.
Just Cause 4 looked absolutely awful on it however apparently the game generally looks awful anyway. When I watch Netflix on the console it really struggles in the dark scenes. When watching Netflix directly through the TV it also struggles but not as much. I've now turned off HDR on the PS5 and it looks better, but not as good as the other TVs in the house. Ideally I want HDR to be turned on so I can get the most out of my TV/Console.
Can anyone recommend any TV settings to change? Or is this a PS5 HDR problem?
I have attached photos of my TV being used through the PS5 with HDR on.
Thanks!
