Hi peeps, after having a pv500 in the house for quite a bit now, my girlfriend has aquired a PHILIPS 42PF9946 for the bedroom for £800
Yes before you say it i know its not the best plasma out there, but for that price can't argue.
now after a bit of research i've found that it doesn't have component inputs, yet the phillips webpage says it has prog scan..................HOW ?
so after thinking, what would be the best way !
Scart 2 ? (non RGB as sky will take up scart 1)
    Component to VGA ?
    cheers all.

    2 easy options:

    1. Plug the DVD player into the VCR Scart of the Sky Box, this will passthrough RGB when switched into standby.

    2. Use an S-video & Audio to Scart cable, to connect the DVD to the other scart which accepts s-video.

What d'you think of the PQ?
