Am new to plasma and am considering purchasing the above HDunit. Can anyone give me a better feel for the intangibles? ie burnin problems, does it have a screensaver?, how is the contrast especially as it relates to blacks?, is the DVI input copywrite protected or not?, any other pros/cons you can think of that the manufacturer doesn't list

    thanks for your help, Mike

To be honest i woudnt bother with this plasma unless your gettin it real cheap. its not bad but it sure isnt great.
this is the older model and is out dated by the 9965 which features pixel plus and delivers a very good pic. just a tad behind the panasonic pw6.

so try and find a panasonic or the later model philips. the panny will probaly be cheaper and is the better set, (when set up properly)
also look to the forthcoming pioneer 434.

    hope that helps
