If you were deciding between a Philips 36PW9525 and a Panasonic TX-36P500X (not sure what the UK equivilent model number is), which one would you buy?

If it was the Philips 36PW9607 (Pixel Plus set) id go with the Philips everyday.

Cant answer your question as i havent seen the 9525 in action - its an older set either out of production ow or soon to be out of production.

Spikey is right about the 9525 being out of production but I did have one for about a week before getting the 9607 and I thought the picture was great (not as good as the 9607) but better than any other 36" that I had seen, so if you don't mind gtting an out of production model then go for it :D

How does the 9525 compare to the Panasonic top-of-the-line 36" Direct View 16:9?
