Hi, interesting discussions about this TV's tube but I have a separate question about the audio.

I'm wondering about the best way of using this telly with a 5.1 receiver (pioneer c300s). I've heard that if you use the line-out connectors on the telly then the onboard speakers all switch to the centre (dialogue) channel. Is this true?

If so it might help me 'cause I don't think I'm going to have space for a centre speaker :( so I'd like to try putting the front & rear stereo speakers through the receiver and use the TV as a centre speaker.

Is this a daft idea? :clown:
