I've seen a couple of kindly provided links to online shops, which now list this model. But has anyone actually seen one in a local shop yet? - i mean apart from the guy that saw one in a Powerhouse branch ages ago - cos i checked in my local, and they didnt even have it on their system at that time (supposed to cover the entire country).

    cheers

    :D

Just bought one. Fantastic picture. It took me days of searching on the web to find one on display. Finally saw one in Hi-spek, went back the next day and brought it home. I have even started watching the soaps on it the picture is that good.

Give me a couple of days to fiddle with it then I will give you some more information. I've tried my DVD on it and it does give a very well defined, bright and colourful picture. I don't think the sound is anywhere as good as seperates, but it has the best picture of any TV set I have seen. However, I may not be as critical as some of the people in this forum. I only wish I had got the 36" set.

Sevenoaks Hi-fi in Tunbridge Wells had one in. The salesman said it costs £1500. I didn't have a demo of it though.

Still waiting for my local dealer to get one in - philips are out of stock apparently, and told them 4 weeks. This kind of implies that they had some in, so there must be a load out there somewhere. The Doncaster area has never seen any - which doesent exactly suprise me.

They have them in at John Lewis in Oxford Street. I had a quick look and was very impressed indeed.

There is a mode on the TV that splits the screen vertically and one half shows a regular picture and the other a pixel plus enhanced one. There is a huge difference in clarity (almost too big to make it slightly suspicious).
