    Hi Guys

I'm having problems with the signal dropping out every 10 secs or so. HDMI lead OK on DVD player.

    Anyone else seen this issue???

Works OK on component - any difference in Component V HDMI quality??

    Cheers

    Phil

I've got the same issue with 32PFL9632D and Sky HD.

I have tried a different cable, and have had a Sky engineer out with a replacement HD box and that did not work either.

It would appear to be a problem with the TV though, seeing as though other people are having the exact same issue!! :( I can only think that it is a HDCP handshake problem.

    See http://www.avforums.com/forums/showpost.php?p=5411172&postcount=672 and http://www.avforums.com/forums/showpost.php?p=5413208&postcount=679.

I have been on the phone to Philips support and they said they will get the tech people to ring me back (that was Tuesday - called them today and they never had my number, so they will ring me on Monday!). I will point them to this forum, if they don't already know about the issue...

Just spoke the Philips. this is a known software issue and a fix is expected mid October.

They provided me with a reference and said a USB card would be sent to me in the post with the upgrade......

    Good news.........

    Cheers

    Phil

    Hi

Has anyone received the software update yet? I just spoke to Philips and initially they said they never heard of this issue, but then I pointed the representativ to this page and they are now sending me a software update on a USB stick to try.

I was womdering if anyone has determined if this has fixed the SkyHD problems ?

    Cheers !

    Jon

    Hi,

I have a PF9731 and get all the software updates for the telly from the philips support site. I wonder if you can't download it from there rather than waiting for them to post it out??

well, the USB fob turned up with new firmware...but it didnt fix the problem...I'm not convinced that the person I spoke to knew about the issue, and the firmware I got may have just been the latest version, but without any fixes in it...will keep waiting..............
