    Hi,
It's been 11 days since the beauty arived and I'm playing around with the settings.
Today a friend of mine gave me the codes to enter the service menu  which gives you an enormous amount of selections. Unfortunately I don't know what most of them will do and therefore would like to ask if anyone has the service manual.
Please let me know if and where I can find it.
    Thanks in advance

Is there anything in the service menu that'll allow you to change the brightness of the backlights? Can you publish the codes here?

Tried this and it doesn't seem to work, Does the TV need to be on standby or anything first?

    Hi,
    sorry for the delay!!!
The TV must be on and you must press the buttons as fast as possible. The most important is to press the [i+] button.
Beware that you must be very carefull in this menu. You might damage the TV by altering the options. That's why I'm searching for the service manual.
Today I tested it in 2 more sets and it worked ok! It even worked on the 9976!!

Best of wishes for the new year!!!!
