I know the official specs list the maximum PC resolution of this (beautiful) set as 1024x768, but has anyone tried it at 1366x768 with any success?

    Hi IMH,

How much PC use to you intend to do? I use a laptop on my 9986 and, OK, there are black bars either side of the screen but it doesn't bother me when you take in to consideration the outstanding qualities of the screen in every other respect!!!

    Regards,

Hi, am a software engineer by trade, so prob an average of an hour a night. I may go for the 9986, or i might wait and see if the new Sharps eventually gain a VGA input and can still cope with 1368x768

I assume the 9986 makes your laptop look lovely?
