    Hi...
This is an excellent set...I would say there is no differance between Quality between this and the 9986.

Would like to make an addition to the settings by Jimsan (excellent by the way mate!)

For those who are having trouble with audio distorsion...I also noticed the audio was on some scenes distored...After a couple of tweaks it's perfect.

    Goto sound option...then equalizer...

The 120hz needs to be turned down by 3.
The 500hz needs to be turned down by 2.
    I find these settings optimal.

Try these out and let me know what you think.

    Hi Sunny,

The 9976 is quite different to the 9986 when it comes to sound reproduction. It has very small speakers, and as you point out, it is worth tweaking them to avoid distortion.

You are right about the PQ of the 9976. As long as the source is decent it'll turn out a breat picture.

Sorry for being a newbie, but I haven't yet found these sound options in the menu's of my 9976! Is there a secret way to access this?
