I am thinking of getting this TV, but it will be put on a corner stand. I am just wondering if the ambilight will work ok, or does it have to be mounted on a flat white wall to work? Would it still be worth getting it even if i can't use the ambilight properly?
    Thanks for any advice:thumbsup:

It'll be more impressive if it was wall mounted but the basic effect will work even if the TV is in a corner, impossible to tell how effective it will be though:)

Might be worth looking some other panels if Ambilight is the deciding factor for choosing the Philips.

I have my 37PF9986 corner mounted on a stand with cream/yellow wall. Works very well. Lights up the corner and colours from ambilight still manage to display on wall colour. Get white, blue, red, green etc depending on main colour on screen.
The following picture was taken in daylight. Looks even better in evening.
