okay guys i have a question......

I have just purchased a philips 30pf9975. Ok yes I would have liked a 32pf9986 but at £3,000 it was a little on the steep side for me (see my REAL stuff on my www). The 30pf9975 was only £1500  . I want to see an on screen indicator of the volume level, to do this I have to set the OSD to Normal as opposed to minimised. This provides the result that i want, however, this also provides the unwanted result of presenting the channel number in the top left hand side of the screen.

How do I display the volume level on the screen but not have to permanently look at the channel id??? :lease:

By the way I have tried :rtfm: but I cannot see anything?

    Thanks,

    Ian.

    You can't.
The only way you can see the volume level when the OSD is minimum, is in the menu.
You can't get rid of the channel number when the OSD is set to normal
