    Hi,
I recieved my new Philips 30PF9946 today and I have connected my pc to the vga port of the tv. The resolution looks good in 1280 x 768 mode but it has cut off some of the screen on the right hand side so i can't see the clock in the corner of windows because it seems to have gone beyond the screen. Is there anything I can do to correct this??

Also there are better resolutions available in the display menu in control panel (1280 x 1024 or 1280 x 960) but they seem to make windows look very stretched. Is it possible to obtain a better resolution without everything looking stretched?

    Please can anyone help me?
    Thanks

    Tesh

Have you tried centering the picture with the TV remote's left/right arrow keys (around the OK button)? You should be able to nudge it to the side.
I've not tried it with a PC input, but it works with DVDs via DVI.
