Has anyone got the above TV/DVD Combo (Philips 28PW6826), or the same spec'd TV.
I have recently bought one and I have to say that the sound quality isn't as good as I was hoping. There is a lack of Bass and the wireless surround speakers sound very poor. They seem to crackle/rumble when the TV volume is fairly quiet and especially when there is any text on the screen. ie when you change channels and it says things like "BBC1 - Nicam Stereo"

I'm thinking of taking it back and getting my money back.

    Can anyone help??

I've got a PW286515, and the sound is pretty good, plenty of bass. The only gripe I have is that 1 channel cuts out internittently usually during queit moments - but it only happens rarely.

Sounds like you've got a dodgy set, I'd take it back.
