I am after an LCD for the bedroom and have noticed Richer sounds are doing the Philips 23PF9945 for £699.

Has anyone got one of these? Is this set OK?

    Any help would be appreciated.

I have been through the same questions, I have seen the SHARP AQUOS 32", the toshiba and the Philips 32pf9976.
The philips was clearly better for my eyes. It had no noticable pixelisation as the sharp did. The others seems to have images that simple SWICTHED, they did not seem smooth from a DVD source.
The source was not equal in all cases but the diffrence on fast scenes was noticable to me.

The philips is selling for 1451 UKP the sharp around 1299 UKP.

I bought one of these, an excellent picture with no dead pixels. It is great in the bedroom

I was just about to buy one of these and went to Richer Sounds and they have just put the price up to £799 from £699... typical.

Joncl, any recommendations on where to buy one of these?

I might be wrong (I am just learning myself) but I think that's an older model. The new model with digital connection (not digital TV) is 23PF9946 and looking on the net can be had for cheaper than you were looking for the older model in richer sounds.

Cheers, maybe its an option but I am not too fussed on the 23PF9946 design, even though the wife likes it. :)
