I have been lurking on this forum for the last few days, trying to gain some intel for my next TV purchase (32"-36"). Since my present TV is +10 years old, I am pretty behind on the technology.

I have read most of the comments here, enough to know that I should avoid a Sony FQ75 and a Toshiba ZP18 (which is a shame, since I really fancied the picture frame look and compactness).

Most of the techno's here seem to favour Loewe, but that is a bit more than I wanted to spend (c. £1000-£1200 inc cabinet for 32" or 1400 for 36"). But I have read the Loewe use Philips tubes, so I thought they must have a decent picture.

Are there any owners of a Philips 32PW9527 who anything good/bad to say about it?

Or does anyone have any good experiences with other models/brands.

I am mainly interested in picture, rather than powerful audio, since I have that covered already.
