I just received an order from Movietyme and it included a mailout sheet giving a February release date for TPM on DVD!

    Any one got any comments?

It's unlike MovieTyme to do that. I noticed it too, but they're only reacting to rumours. No one, epecially not Lucasfilm has given a rock solid release date for it. I'll pre-order it when I have a confirmed date from Georgey Boy himself.

February 2001 is the current fav date for TPM.

It is after the Xmas lull, just before the hype for Ep 2 begins. Remember that the USA rerelease of Star Wars etc includes a 10 minute Ep2 Making Of... so George will want a bigger promo for the film around Feb/March [IMG]

I would be careful with the pirate DVD. Have read a few reviews and the picture quality has been less than VHS and the 5.1 surround mix is all over the place.
