Got it on Saturday and up until last night had not ventured onto Live with it. Straight away in the single player game I could see that it was a huge improvement over the first one, obviously the graphics were better but more importantly the scoring system and method of progressing through the game is much better too. The gameplay is head and shoulders above the original.

After a bit of practice on single player I went on Live last night and it was incredible, I've not been grabbed by a game like this for a long time, it just keeps you coming back for more. Ended up for the most part racing round the streets of Edinburgh with a good bunch and having a great laugh. Can get a bit hectic and like in MotoGP you can end up in a bit of a mess at the first bend (and quite often the 2nd, 3rd........).

    Highly recommended.

I have to confess that when the first PGR came out on launch I was a little disappointed, particularly as I was a huge MSR fan. However, I bought PGR2 on Friday and haven't stopped playing since. They finally seem to have got the Kudos system and progress through the game right and it looks gorgeous. Haven't tried it on live yet - maybe tonight.

Agree - online multiplayer PGR2 is the business. Had some great races over the weekend, although people who reverse off the start line are a bit of a pain.

Is there a good steering wheel for the XBox (prefereably mutli-platform, so it'll work on a PS2 as well) ?

    Cheers, Carl.
