Just tried to set the Personal Planner last night for the wife but it wouldn't work. Every time I tried to select a programme from the tv guide it displayed "For your information - there are no programmes in your personal planner". I tried setting it from the bar at the bottom of the screen but nothing happens. Should I try a forced download or is this something other people have had problems with. My box is a Grundig.

I have exactly the same problem, however my digibox is a Pace.

It's around 5 years old, I've had the problem for the last 12 months, however could not be arsed doing anything about it until now.

    Anyone help ?

p.s. I've done the turning the viewing card upside down thing.

Yes, you have nothing to lose...as long as the dish/lnb/downlead is okay and you are receiving a signal...it often cures weird faults like this.

I tried a forced software download last night, however it hasn't cured the problem.
The symptoms are the same as Woody's above.

Is it possible this could be a hardware error with the digibox ?
Probably the excuse I need to upgrade to Sky+

Or are there any other procedures I should try first ?

    thanks

    FH

Go into the Installer's Menu (Services, 4, 0, 1, Select) and choose "Planner Rebuild", or failing that do a full system reset.

P.S. Planner rebuild is an option on Sky+ boxes only.
