Perpetual Grace, LTD. - EPIX Press Site

Perpetual Grace, LTD. is a 10-episode modern noir drama from MGM Television, which follows James (Emmy® award nominee Jimmi Simpson), a young grifter, as he attempts to prey upon Pastor Byron Brown (Academy Award® winner Sir Ben Kingsley), who turns out to be far more dangerous than he suspects. The pastor and his wife Lillian (Academy Award® nominee Jacki Weaver)—known to their parishioners as Pa and Ma—have used religion to bilk hundreds of innocent people out of their life savings.

Steve Conrad and Bruce Terris (Patriot) serve as executive producers and showrunners, with Steve Conrad directing six episodes. Joining Conrad and Terris as executive producers are Escape Artists’ Todd Black, Jason Blumenthal and Steve Tisch. The series will be produced by MGM Television and internationally distributed by MGM.

episode 1, entertaining

EXCLUSIVE:
Epix’s noir drama series Perpetual Grace, LTD will not be renewed for a second season but will get a proper ending. We have learned that the premium network is planning a short limited run as a followup to the first season of the Ben Kingsley and Jimmi Simpson-fronted drama. Talks are still in early stages, with the exact number of episodes TBD, sources stress.

Late to this thread. Really sad this was cancelled after one season. About halfway through the season right now on Starzplay and just like Patriot (Conrad's other work) it may be an acquired tast, but if you've acquired that taste as I have it is simply sublime dark comedy. Elite tier.
