    Hi ya

While down in Devon at easter we rented a cottage. The owner had some peacocks that used to roam around the place. The main male was called Peter. All linked to larger veiws.

    Here is Peter the Peacock

    Nice one Holo
I think the last one is my fav, but then I like DoF effects and the 'eyes' in that one are particularly interesting.

    Nice shots Holo.
Camera shake is quite evident though especially if you view them larger than in forum.
Remember the golden rule that to avoid camera shake the shutter speed should be at least the reciprocal of the focal length (unless you have IS).
So for a focal length of 200mm a shutter speed of no slower than 1/200s.

I like the portrait shot, Holo. I think the background helps to emphasize the rich colour of the peacock even more.

This one's my favourite. I like the DOF and the way the neck is threaded between the "eyes" on the feathers. Very nice.

    Cheers.
