I hope your right but suspect its an error. Both Dabs and BT Shop have it for around that price, but apparently both are out of stock.

Thats a fantastic price, too good to be true.

These panels do not include speakers or stand - right? (not that it matters at this price)

I am just buying a house (29th) so i cant afford to order it today. I would stick it on my credit card but i only ordered the credit card today!! so i doubt it will turn up until mid next week at best by wish time it could be to late! bugger.

so whats the best price anyone has found to date?

I am looking for the 508XD. My budget is 2.5k but i do want some kind of warranty, most places seem to offer ZERO or 5 years. Id be quite happy with 3 years.

Most Pioneer warranty's will be insurance based warranty's so you will get what you pay for with those. Generally speaking though i have never had a problem with a Pioneer screen

    Thanks Dave

However, I do not beleive this includes the undermounted speaker, and im guessing this is probably £150 plus to buy. Therefore the combined price is probably around the £2,770 mark.

I would ideally like to have the speaker as well, as I dont want to have my surround sound system on for everything. It looks like this TV is just slightly out of my price league (having just brought a house!) :thumbsdow

Ive seen the Samsung 50P96FD which seems to be getting good feedback. From what ive read im sure the PIO is the better tv but its 1.3k more for a similar deal. Ive been set on buying a PIO for the last 6 months so im unsure what to do.. waiting is not an option tho, as im dreaming of HD TV and 360 gaming!

    Thanks Nikonkid - Great Find.

The Samsung looks a good set but the PIO was the set I had my heart on. As soon as my Credit Card turns up (with 0% for 12 months) I am ordering it!. Hopefully the card will turn up this week.

All I gotta do now is find a third party warranty. Cheers!

The 5080XD is a lesser version, No wonder they have no stock left as it looks a good price to me.

    Darn..

Back to the drawing board. Dont want to pay out £2,199 plus warranty for a cut down version. I appreciate I may not need the additional features but I always fancied PIP and the ability to get it pro calibrated!

Back to the drawing board... Back to Samsung :(
