PDP-LX5090 - Suitable for 24hrs/day usage?

    is this plasma capable of 24/7?

    Yeah you can leave it turned on all day for full week no problem at all. ;)

    Seriously though, I guess you're referring to 1080p/24 or 24 frames per second, in which case it is. :)

    thx for info, was reffering to 24h/day useage.

    nice set up, i am thinking of getting a pio sc lx 71 also, what speakers are you thinking of with that amp? I am thinking B&w 685 av pack, but a bit big so also considering Kef 3005se

    My set up is going into a dedicated room and so I've not really had to consider speaker size too much at all. As long as I'm not snowed in at the weekend i'm going to demo the amp with the following packages...

    KEF - IQ90 (L&R), IQ60 (C), IQ30 (SL&SR)

    Monitor Audio - RS6 (L&R), RSLCR (C), RSFX (SL&SR)

    I'm then gonna be skint for a few months as all my other kit has been bought very recently too and so i'm going to have to do without a subwoofer for the time being. That's one of the main reasons i've decided to go with floorstanders as they'll hopefully give me decent enough bass in the meantime.

    ok thought I would update - have had it for a month with extensive daily useage and doesn't get warm, no screen retention or burns - this baby rocks

    btw am using ********' calibration settings. they are awesome and are very helpful.
