PDP-435XDE arrived 9am Sunday morning. Well done Joe at TMF.
The awaited help to set up never arrived, Son-in-law reckons he should be able to sort it out end of November when he gets a couple of days off.

So what happens? Me in my Seventies and wife in mid Sixties we got stuck in.

Plasma faq thread. I think very much needed. :lesson:

Today every bone in my body aches, but we set it up, and it works.
However my setup leaves a lot to be desired.

My Tivo has three scarts.VCR, Scart and Aux.
European Satellite Receiver three scarts. VCR, TV and Decoder.

Tivo Aux to input 1 Media Receiver.
Media Receiver Scart 2 to TV on Sat receiver.
Everything works, but I'm sure there is a better way.
Also How do I get the TV out from my PC to play films on
the plasma? I tried Input 3 with a Btech 929S digital insert and the
ATI display recognised the tv connection but no display on the panel. :lease:

Finally Pioneer DV-656A with component lead to Media receiver.
No sound unless I run it through VSX-C300 receiver.

I have made mistakes, but hopefully someone will help put me right.

As far as the PDP-435XDE is concerned, I waited to save just that
little more for a quality set and am completely satisfied with my purchase.
I just need to iron out the different connections and I can sit back and enjoy
    Plasma heaven.
