PDP-435XDE and PDP-435FDE differences?

    I cannot make out the difference between the PDP-435XDE and PDP-435FDE. Can anyone help?

    pdp-435xde has built-in freeview receiver,otherwise they are identical

    So there is little point buying the more expensive one since a freeview box is around £50.

    The remote control on the XDE is metal whereas I believe you get a plastic shot with the FDE.

    There are a few other differences aswell ( photo gallery option etc... ).

    Given the choice I'd go for the XDE ( infact I did ). :thumbsup: :thumbsup:

    Check the Pioneer website for other differences or search this forum

    Plus picture in picture and split screen on the XDE and optical digital!

    And the digital picture on the XDE is way better than the FDE can achieve with a freeview box on a scart socket. These screens only really shine with an HDMI external source.
