Just fetched my 7200, it`s still in the box, can`t wait to open!!
what u doing on here then away and get that box open
Just like christmas!!!!!!
Just done a basic set up. I`m using a cheap scart, DVD to Tv, and good lead to Sky.
After a bit of tweaking as you call it, which you advise on hear, it is gonna be wow!
It`s the actual size of the TV that is blowing me away at the moment, it`s incredible! I gotto clean living room now, as furniture all over the place.
Have to be honest mind, "I FEEL LIKE A KID IN A CANDY SHOP"!!!
Good news Strongbow! Have you tweaked yet? There are a few of us kids getting our 7200's this week so we can all play together. Awaiting your next post.
I felt exactly the same when i got my pv500. You'll soon get used to the size of the TV, after a couple of weeks you'll wonder how you coped before!
Just got the internet back!
Right, I`m still moving the furniture around, the TV is huge and can only go in certain places. I done a basic set up yesterday (Sky box/ dvd player) That was quite easy, two scart leads, then power up.
There is not much difference in PQ as my old set. But don`t get dis-heartened, as I`m not sure how to set the detailed colour on the plasma yet. I`m going to look on the set up disc in a moment and these very knowledgable AV Forums.
I have been looking on these forums for a week or so now, and have no doubt, that in a week or so, that I will be watching a fantastic picture on my beautiful, brand new 42" Plasma.
I agree with people on here the picture improves over the initial week or so, either due to settling in, or better use of the remote as you go along. I saw an improvement today compared with yesterday.
If it`s your first 42" screen, even with a basic picture, you will be in AWE! as I was....
It really is a nice looking set. Make sure you have a mate when you set up as the TV is surprisingly heavy. You lot will probably be well set up before me, so i will probably be asking you questions next week.
I have written this post as truthfully as I see it, in my eyes.
